I am the same, but skin has practically transformed thanks to AHAs. I will try it one day though, perhaps I need to save up for it hahah. I used to use the FAB pads and I loved them! Glycolic/exfoliating acids are just a must in my routine now. The Dermalogica serum sounds quite nice! I do love my skincare ;) Yes, just like Tenneil said I think having acne really makes you appreciate and understand the importance of a proper skincare routine. I love love love their scrub, but no actually haven't tried any other products from the brand but I think I've see you talk about those before so I will probably give them a try at some point! Definitely try the Ultraceuticals serum! xxChantallehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12992999947003478528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6791724555933925883.post-87316247440231728242016-06-06T20:28:00.650+10:002016-06-06T20:28:00.650+10:00This is definite skincare porn!!! I have always struggled with acne and blemishes so I take my products very seriously!!! One of my holy grail products is also the glycolic scrub from skinstitut! I have so many backups and I would be lost without it! It has made such a difference to my skin. I really want to try the Ultraceuticals Ultra Clear Treatment Lotion from what you have read I feel like I need it in my life. Have you tried the retinol or even blend serum from Skinstit? They are also amazing and a welcome addition to my routine!

Great post! But I think you are totally right. When you go through having acne and then having blemish prone skin it just becomes part of what you do to continue having clear skin. I don't think I would have it any other way though, I love my skincare routines!

I have just run out of my Oskia cleanser *tears* but I will definitely be picking up another, it is that good! Like you said, it must be something if the hype is still going for this product! I love the Pixi Glow Tonic as it is quite gentle meaning I can use it twice a day but you still see amazing results. I do use Liquid Gold every now and then but I find that it is a bit too concentrated for my skin. I will for sure pick up the Estee Lauder serum once I have finished with the Dermalogica one after hearing you rave about it! Hopefully it works well for my skin as well!

Thanks for reading Tenneil xxChantallehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12992999947003478528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6791724555933925883.post-21622175950420317932016-06-05T22:52:29.048+10:002016-06-05T22:52:29.048+10:00Sometimes I hate the faff of a nighttime skincare ...Sometimes I hate the faff of a nighttime skincare routine (especially because you've got that extra step of removing your makeup!), but I always find that once I get stuck into it, it's so therapeutic and relaxing! It instantly winds me down for the night and I think just knowing I'm treating my skin with the utmost care puts me at ease too. Being a part of the beauty blogging community, I always forget there are girls out there (my crazy friends!) who still use makeup wipes or only wash their face when they shower. Madness! I mean, you've only got one face - look after it!

I'm really diligent with my evening skincare routine and I think a lot of that has to do with having acne prone skin back in the day too. I think when you've experienced a bit of trauma like that, you'll do anything not to go through it again and you appreciate good skin even more! I just adore the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel - I feel like it'll be one of those products talked about for years to come here. There are so many fads within beauty, but even since its initial hype, people are still raving on about it - and with good reason! I love that it removes makeup, smells divine and is gentle enough for all skin types. My skin is more on the dehydrated side, not oily at all, and I love it for my skin. I'm a huge fan of gentle cleansers, I steer clear of anything stripping or that leaves my skin feeling tight. I'm all about the hydration and nourishment too!

I'm still yet to try Pixi Glow Tonic, but I use Alpha-H Liquid Gold and the Clarins Gentle Exfoliating Brightening Toner, which I think are more or less the same things. I think they do a world of good for acne prone skin, especially when you've got hyper pigmentation. I still highly recommend the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair for that, btw. I still have a bit of scarring on my chin, but for the most part, it completely cleared my acne scars. It's incredible stuff! Your acne scars should clear up all within good time too. I think it's all about diligence and sticking with what works!

Tenneil | Like Neon LoveTenneilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06088181347651710487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6791724555933925883.post-77604185687017164692016-06-04T16:27:05.655+10:002016-06-04T16:27:05.655+10:00Thanks Vildana xThanks Vildana xChantallehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12992999947003478528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6791724555933925883.post-66093463238587356732016-05-30T10:18:29.705+10:002016-05-30T10:18:29.705+10:00Girl I feel you!
